Here are two of Chris’ latest knives! Hunting/camping knife with a walnut and mahogany handle! The second one is a dagger with red acrylic handle! We made this for our family Christmas to open gifts because we are tape crazy! If you need a gift one of Chris had crafted knives makes a wonderful gift. With Chris’s knife making, part of the process is ensuring a good, sharp blade for his customers. Along with sharpening his custom blades, he has also practiced sharpening with knives that we already own. With practice, he is now confident to offer this service to restaurant owners, as well as anybody that has a knife, or several knives, that need sharpened at a cost of $1 per blade inch.

Attention Followers: Chris has donated this beautiful knife and sheath to Campbellsville University Kentucky Association of Nursing Students for their upcoming auction. Starting tomorrow, March 19 through the 25th at 4 pm. There will be lots of items up for auction so if you have been thinking of buying one of his knives this would benefit the nursing students, including his daughter Kayla, with their trip to Orlando, Florida for a conference in April.

Another look at jimping. He watched a video and said “I can do that!”… And he did! He really enjoys making knives and is so proud to custom design knives for customers. They would make a great Easter gift for you or your loved ones! Get your orders in early so he can custom design your perfect knife.

This knife handle is made of chestnut (which is very difficult to find because the chestnut tree blighted out in the early to mid 1900’s) and walnut, and the spine of the knife handle was filed to look like a vine. Blade is 1095 high carbon steel.

Check out this gorgeous knife! A customer provided the wood and wanted Chris to make five knives for Christmas gifts! She told him to use his creative flare but to design them all different! Christina designed and created the sheath! She can custom design images or names in your sheath now!

Handle was made from an old building on their family farm wood is maybe red oak, sheath hand made and hand tooled.

Finally got to make a knife with Damascus steel. Lot of work and cost more but turned out just the way I wanted! If you would like this beautiful knife or any variation of this or any of the previous knives that I have made just come by and check out my book with pictures of all the ones I’ve made so far! Also if you have your own deer antler that would want me to use, no problem.

Blade made from Damascus steel. Handle is deer antler and walnut with hand made leather sheath.
