These sweet little vintage French Provincial pieces have finally made their way out of my storage 💞 Suffice it to say they were sad and rough when I acquired them. The desk was painted in a latex 😩 white paint with black trim work all around and covered in nail polish! The chest of drawers needed all new drawer stops and some reinforcement on the drawer bases. Lots of work before I could even think about a paint brush. All that said, I had a vision, it was risky, but had seen the color on other pieces online and loved it. So, about 2 years later - they are finished!! 🤗. The boho look I envisioned is complete. The color is Enchanted Echinacea by Fusion. Top coated with my favorite General Finishes top coat, new brushed gold hardware added and whimsical boho inspired drawer liner added. The chair was painted in a soft, brushed gold to compliment the hardware and the seat recovered in some fun shaggy faux fur. Definitely risky and out of the box for me, but sometimes ya gotta take the risk.
