Kitchen transformations can turn the ordinary into extraordinary! A little more behind the scenes of a recent renovation. I’ve used three tones before but wanted to share that when you do, it’s nice to incorporate that accent color in more than one place. The white perimeter and natural maple are both neutrals yet we built a door to the basement to match and keep everything in perfect balance.

Yesterdays . I love that the homeowner wanted to go warm with dark oak built cabinetry in this kitchen instead of the all white look. This kitchen was quite the transformation, opening up walls and top of the line appliances and accented by sink and hardware. always does a great job.

Drapery and Blinds install today for a in . A great installer is always a big asset to a designer. I’ve used this one for at least 10 years. soften a room and can cut down on the sun bleaching and heat in the summer and insulate a bit in the winter. Draperies also serve as a mouse reducer where there are lots of hard surfaces. Steaming now in progress. 😄
