I’ve gone back and forth about whether to make this post here, but so many of you have supported my work, followed this page, ordered from me, and watched me create over the years that it felt wrong to simply disappear without explaining why.
On August 3rd, my husband, Adam, passed away.
The last few weeks have been something I still don’t really have words for. My husband is gone. My children lost their dad. And life, somehow, is still moving around us while ours feels like it stopped.
For right now, Twigs & Art may be a little quieter than usual. Messages may take me longer to answer. Orders and new projects may come a little slower while my kids and I figure out what life looks like from here.
But I don’t want to walk away from this page.
Creating has always been a part of me, and I think I’m going to need it now more than ever. I’m not sure what that will look like yet. Some days I may create. Some days I may disappear. Some days the things I make may carry a little more meaning than they used to.
I just ask for a little patience with me while I find my footing.
And to everyone who has supported Twigs & Art—whether you’ve purchased something, shared a post, recommended me, or simply followed along—thank you.
Right now, supporting this little business means more to my family than you probably realize.
One day at a time. 🤍
