We are SO excited 😁 for Jen with Salvaged Designs in her new endeavor! 👩‍🎨 A lot of people reached out to us when we announced we were closing The Old Blue Chair, but God was aligning our paths at exactly the right time. 🙌 We sold our sign painting inventory to her, so if you enjoyed creating signs with us, you're going to have an awesome experience with Salvaged Designs!

Looking at silver linings here, folks:

I may not be able to find toilet paper anywhere (and we're down to 2 rolls 😲...and one kid is currently making a lot of bathroom trips 🙅‍♀️... and I do daycare for 3 fully potty trained kids... and it's spring break), but if I ever have to go in to quarantine, I have enough 🎨 craft supplies🧵to get me through next year (at least).

So there, haters who called me a craft hoarder - the jokes on you 🤪

Hey friends! I really wanted to do a live video to share some news with you, but I'm a crier 😭 and I knew I wouldn't get through it without the ugly cry happening.

After a LOT of discussion, second-guessing, sentimental tears (that'd be Jen😭), and much prayer, we have decided to stop doing sign painting parties through The Old Blue Chair. Although it's hard to walk away from a business we built, we feel at peace with the decision and know the time is right.

We have SO many wonderful memories from the last seven 😮 years! Whether you were there at the beginning when we were painting furniture in Eddyville, or we met at painting parties in the last four years, THANK YOU!!! Some of you became more than just customers - we genuinely enjoyed getting to see you for a few hours at your events. EXTRA special thanks to you ladies... you kept us going, even on those not-so-fun days. ❤️

So, what's in store for us? We'll be keeping this page open to preserve all the memories, and you may also catch us posting pictures of our latest projects. Gloria is already looking forward to painting a few pieces of furniture again, or maybe building a few pieces to casually sell. Jen doesn't have a lot of free time during this season of her life, but she's got some ideas up her sleeve for the future ☺️

By the way -- we'll be selling one of our vinyl plotters and possibly some other equipment, so keep us in mind if you know anyone interested!
