I have started this post so many times and the struggle to type the words was overwhelming. But, I think I'm ready now.
I spent the last 15 years playing in the mud and making the most wonderful friends in the art community.
I was blessed to own a studio/ art gallery and teach pottery ( studio even came with a best friend. Cindy Story). And this past March I had my own solo show in Valdese and got to be a part of the Catawba Valley Pottery Show ( a dream since my first year of pottery).
Pottery has been such a blessing in my life; I always called it by His grace pottery because He was always there with me when I was doing pottery. That, was the best part!
For six months now, however, I have been unable to do any work. My health has continued to decline. Yesterday we finally got a few answers. I def6have Sjogren's Syndrome and Dr's are pretty sure I also have Lupus ( upcoming appointments will clarify). I also am showing markers for a few other conditions that we will be checking out soon.
I ask for your prayers as I go on from here but mostly I want to say THANK YOU.

I've been out of the studio for 2 months now; I miss it more with every breath I take. I will be having 2 MRI's covering my entire spine on Thursday. Neurosurgeon believes I have spinal compression. I see him on Friday for results. All prayers appreciated.
