Perennials are the gift that keeps on giving -- producing beautiful blooms year after year! Pictured here is a Gerbera Daisy. These "Tender Perennials" have proven to be very hardy over the past few years in North Texas. Ours even survived Winter Storm Uri in 2021 with temperatures below zero. Perennials do go dormant in winter, but always a pleasant surprise when they return in Spring. Gerbera Daisy comes in LOTS of colors and you'll want one of each!

Salvia Greggii is an excellent flowering Sub-Shrub and comes in various colors. A Sub-Shrub is a small to medium-sized perennial woody plant, characterized by multiple stems branching from or near the ground. Lavender and Bat Face Cuphea are also good examples of a Sub-Shrub.
