Behind a glossy black door with a brass lion's-head knocker, we tucked a hideaway under the stairs and gave it the full speakeasy treatment. A backlit display niche glowing against moody walls, floating wood shelves, a graphic tile floor underfoot. Proof that the best square footage in the house is the square footage nobody expects.

Form, meet function. (Function never looked this good. 🤩)

We tucked a working pantry-bar into the corner and made every inch earn its place. Floating white-oak shelves, a fluted marble backsplash, brass that catches the light, and woven baskets up top for the things you'd rather not look at. This is the room that makes entertaining look effortless, because the hard part is already handled.

Coral and cobalt dragons climb every wall, the kind of pattern that stops a guest mid-sentence. We grounded all that drama with a navy slatted vanity and a clean white trough sink, then let a hit of magenta orchid pick a fight with the wallpaper just for fun. Penny tile underfoot, brass where it counts. Tiny footprint, zero restraint, and that's exactly the point.

Some of the best rooms in the house don't have walls.

We took this Texas backyard and built a true outdoor living room under those soaring stained-wood rafters. A long dining table that seats the whole crew on one side, a deep blue sectional pulled up to a limestone fireplace on the other, and a TV mounted right where you'd actually watch it. There's something about that gauzy evening light filtering through the whole thing. Swipe to see the lounge side, then go ahead and clear your evening.

Loads of personality. 🧺

Peacock blue cabinets, top to bottom, glossy enough to make folding socks feel like an event. Brass pulls, a warm metal faucet that arcs like it means it, and a patterned cement floor pulling more weight than most living rooms manage. Nobody said the hardest-working room in the house had to look the part.

Green with envy? Get in line.

This is what happens when you commit to a color and refuse to apologize for it. Sage cabinetry from floor to ceiling, the panel-front fridge that disappears into the millwork, that carved corbel under the hood doing the heavy lifting nobody asked it to but everybody notices. The floral roman shade could've read fussy. Instead it reads like somebody with taste made a decision and stuck the landing.

Swipe for the orchid moment and that island the earns its keep.

Our clients’ living room commits to a color and never looks back. Navy walls floor to ceiling, a sectional that actually invites you to sit, and a coffee table with a peacock feather inlay that earns every bit of attention it gets. Those brass birds taking flight on the wall? That is the punctuation mark the whole room needed.
