Happy Sunday Sweet Friends! Look what I made today!

A Thrifted Book Pumpkin Shelf Sitter! I used this thrifted book and florals, stained a paint stick and added ribbon and jute to tie it all together! It can all be removed and used in another project or season.

Would you make one? I would love to teach a “Thrifted Book Project Class” with you! I have so many ideas on how we can create, decorate and add these to your home decor for all seasons!

I’m putting this one in my booth this week! It was so much fun creating it from thrifted items I want to make more! Let me know below what you think!

Happy Thrifty Thursday Sweet Friends! Today I’m sharing a thrifty find I found while shopping with a friend. I will share my take home haul in a separate post.

Once a month if not an occasionally a little more often I meet up with who I call my work friend. We have known each other at least 30 years. We meet for lunch then thrift a few local shops and sometimes a flea market or too. We both love thrifting and our tastes, for the most part are opposite of each other.

We usually divide and conquer as we shop. Often we find pieces for each other as we browse along the aisles. I found this beautiful signed and numbered print in mint condition for $5! I knew as soon as I found it that it would be perfect for her home. It had all the colors that she loves and would go perfectly with her home decor.

Here’s a picture of it on her wall. I didn’t think to take pictures of it in the thrift store. But you can see how beautifully it works with her wall color. I love when you find things that others love and appreciate as much as you do.

🇺🇸 As we celebrate our Independence Day on the Fourth of July every year, we think of July 4, 1776, as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation.

🇺🇸 We must always remember the sacrifices made to preserve that independence.

🇺🇸 Enjoy celebrating the freedoms that we are blessed to have in this great country. We will be enjoying faith, family and freedom this weekend!

Flag Day will be officially celebrated tomorrow June 14, it’s the anniversary of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official US flag in 1777!
Our Flag is so important that its history tells the story of America itself. It represents the freedom, dignity, and true meaning of being an American.
Many have fought, and still fight, for our freedom to fly the Stars and Stripes!!
We pray for our country that we may all continue to enjoy our freedom to fly the Red, White and Blue!!
