It’s time!! Christmas has started to trickle into our booth with much more to come over the next week. We brought lots of different types of garlands and a few ceramic pieces, next will be linens, pillows, and tons of vintage ornaments. We also brought in several cross stitch pieces and jewelry. We are working on a washing and ironing a whole batch of vintage handkerchiefs as well. Be sure and visit Evenbrooke soon!! Let the Christmas shopping begin!!

Hello Followers!! As we are going through our Christmas inventory we have realized we have soooo much and will be trying to sell some pieces on Facebook as well as take most into Evenbrooke starting next week! Can't believe it is time and also can't wait to decorate. We are starting off with a set of china. It is also listed on Marketplace. We have 3 sets of the following for a total of 18 place settings plus serving pieces. We are planning on putting one set in our booth. Please let us know if you are interested in a set! We will be listing additional pieces that we just don't have room for in the booth- stay tuned!!

Vintage set of Christmas china featuring a white swirled edge with a green holly wreath and red berries. Manufactured by SCIO. Set includes 6 place settings with four pieces in each setting. Total of 24 pieces- 6 dinner plates, 6 dessert plates, 6 saucers, and 6 teacups. All are in excellent used condition. We have additional place settings and serving pieces available for an additional cost. Price is $95 for the 24 pieces. Does not include tablecloth and centerpiece- dishes only. Sourced this antique set of china from a yard sale in Hillsville, Virginia over Labor Day weekend. Decided to hold onto it until next year before selling it- that happens a lot!!

Found the old quilt at a yard sale late in the day near our house. We were surprised it lasted that long- too bad we left the huge crocks behind!

Bought the deer antlers at a local flea and got the hydrangeas from our yard.

Added the grapevine arch this year along with a couple of faux mums from Hobby Lobby. Dean put the arch up in 15 minutes!

The giant pumpkins were purchased from Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago.

The real reason we go picking in Virginia every Labor Day Weekend. These donuts are to die for. We don’t usually buy anything at the flea market in Hillsville. We pay $10 to park and buy donuts, rest a little and cool off, then hit the road again! They are worth it. We were able to find lots of great inventory this year- including over 50 vintage hankies and a set of gorgeous china we are debating on keeping. Will post pictures later. It was a hot one this year!! Happy Labor Day!!

Did a quick refresh of the booth yesterday! Brought in the cutest ghosts made with vintage linens, more milk glass pieces, more jewelry, more crochet and lace wall decor, and a whole new selection of vintage hankies, plus lots more!! Let us know your favorite or the one thing you have been hunting. We are headed to Hillsville, Virginia to go picking in the morning and just might find what you need. Go shop at Evenbrooke this weekend and escape the heat!!
