Hey all of you former cotton mill workers! I have seen these pieces assembled and unassembled, but never with the small horizontal piece. I take it that’s correct? These are so beautifully crafted it’s hard to think of them as machine parts. They look like finely crafted candlesticks.

If mom loves vintage country, she’ll love these!

Also at Evenbrooke is this great Blue Magic “Krispy Kan,” a Mid-Century Moisture-Control Cracker Tin – made by the Luce Mfg. Co.

Charming and functional, the tin features whimsical “snack flower” graphics of crackers, chips, popcorn, and nuts. This is the original Blue Magic Krispy Kan, designed to keep crackers, chips, and dry foods fresh and crisp.

What makes this piece special is the original glass “Dri-Nob” moisture control insert in the lid. It contains “Blue Magic” crystals that absorb humidity—simply heat to reactivate (instructions are still printed inside the lid. No microwaving remember)! It’s cute as can be and a wonderful example of 1940s–50s kitchen innovation.

Details:

* Marked: Blue Magic Krispy Kan – Luce Mfg. Co.
* U.S. Patent No. 2548168 (as stamped on base)
* Original glass Dri-Nob with crystals intact (unheard of)
* Interior original white enamel coating in great condition
* Lid includes original printed directions
* Approx. mid-century (late 1940s–1950s)

Condition: In credible vintage condition. Bright, glossy exterior with minimal wear for age. Interior clean with light signs of use. Dri-Nob intact and complete.

This would make a terrific display piece or usable vintage storage container.

Perfect for collectors of vintage kitchenware, advertising tins, or mid-century décor.

The tin should arrive at Evenbrooke before the weekend. Reach out to me if you want to check on its arrival.

Gotta love it! This vintage Luzianne Coffee & Chicory tin from the late 1950s - early 1960s is a fun piece of mid-century advertising now at Piper & Knucky’s at Evenbrooke!

Most tins from this era—especially those found in old garages or barns - show rust, fading, or significant wear. This example is just the opposite. The exterior is in remarkably clean, even vibrant! Love the classic rooster graphics.

The tin also retains its original West Bend percolator promotional label, offering a glimpse into mid-century marketing, when companies paired everyday goods with appliance incentives. Even more interesting, this appears to be a transitional design, with earlier artwork partially hidden beneath the label and the newer rooster imagery on the exterior.

The interior does show some age and wear, which is typical, but nothing that detracts from its display appeal.

This is wonderful piece for collectors of vintage advertising, country kitchen décor, or Luzianne memorabilia—this is not your average example.

This will arrive at Piper & Knucky’s sometime this week! Be on the lookout for it and other great new items.

And if you bought one of those percolators, I would love to a picture of it!

Show us your percolator!
