One of the most intricate showers I’ve designed thus far!

The request included the following:

• A rainhead
• Two shower heads
• A hand shower with seperate valve
• Body sprays at various heights
• Niches
• A bench seat

There were a lot of details to coordinate, but I think it turned out phenomenal!

Okay, I’m officially in love with Caesarstone’s new countertop options! 😍
Porcelain countertops are quickly becoming a popular choice, while quartz continues to give traditional granite and marble some serious competition.
So, what makes porcelain worth considering?

Highly heat-resistant — this is a big one, especially since I always caution my clients about placing excessive heat directly on quartz.
No sealing required, unlike many natural stones.
UV-resistant — making it a great option for spaces with lots of natural light and even certain outdoor applications.
Scratch- and stain-resistant for a durable, low-maintenance surface. No resin binders like those found in quartz, which give porcelain excellent resistance to heat and many household cleaners.
Super versatile — one of my favorite design advantages! The same material can potentially flow from the countertop to the backsplash, walls, fireplace, or even shower surrounds, creating a really beautiful, cohesive look throughout the home.

I’m excited to see porcelain becoming another great option for clients who want the look of beautiful stone with the durability and easy maintenance of porcelain.

✨ Another beautiful kitchen transformation is complete! ✨

This kitchen had great potential, but the layout just wasn't working for the way my client lives and entertains.

Here's what I changed:
✔️ Removed the corner pantry to create a more functional cabinetry layout.
✔️ Eliminated the double ovens, freeing up valuable countertop and storage space.
✔️ Removed the peninsula that interrupted the flow of the room.
✔️ Designed a large, furniture-style island that now serves as the centerpiece of the home.

The result is a kitchen that feels open, inviting, and much more practical. My client now has generous prep space, abundant storage, and a layout that allows family and guests to gather comfortably while meals are being prepared. I also love the touch her grandmother's passed down, amazing art adds to the space!

Good design isn't just about making a room look beautiful. It's about making everyday life easier.

Remembering those who fought for our freedom. Interesting fact: The observance was originally known as “Decoration Day”. By the late 1860s, many Americans had begun hosting tributes to the war’s fallen soldiers by decorating their graves and with flowers and flags. Why did the name change from Decoration Day to Memorial Day? It seems that it gradually came to be known as Memorial Day over the years.

One of the biggest compliments I can receive as a designer happened recently . I had a past client reach out and ask me to walk a home that is on the market with her before submitting an offer. That kind of trust? It means everything.

We walked through the house together, discussed layout, renovation potential, and what to look out for, so she could make a confident, informed decision.

This is exactly what I love to do: help clients see beyond what’s there and understand what’s possible (and what’s not worth the risk).

This kitchen started as a design project with a client… and ended with someone I truly adore. She trusted me completely, even when she wasn’t quite sure what she wanted.

What started as a kitchen design naturally flowed into the sitting area, dining room, and foyer, creating a home that feels cohesive, warm, and welcoming for their family.

One of my favorite details is the broken cabinetry mix; warm wood lowers with creamy white uppers. It keeps the kitchen light and open without feeling overwhelming, blocked up or forced. Instead, it feels organic and balanced… which is exactly what we were going for. Honestly, this design reflects so much of what I personally gravitate toward: warm, inviting, layered spaces that feel elevated but still livable.

This was such a fun project, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. And even better… I gained a friend along the way.
