Welcome to Mahj on Main🀄️
Downtown Lexington has been woven into my story for as long as I can remember. My family has owned a shop on Main Street for decades, it’s where I spent so much of my childhood learning about fabrics, design and the importance of small business. In so many ways, those years helped shape the path that eventually became Victoria Haile Interiors.
So when the owner, Filomena Heaton , so graciously reached out and trusted me with the design of her new venture, it felt incredibly full circle.
Part mahjong studio, part retail destination, Mahj on Main was designed to be a place where people can gather, play, shop, and simply enjoy each other’s company. We embraced bold color and pattern throughout, layering pinks and greens with commissioned artwork, wallpaper, millwork, and playful details. From the custom game tables designed specifically for the space to the smallest finishing touches, every detail was thoughtfully considered to create something fresh, welcoming, and unmistakably “mahjong”.
There is something truly special about watching Main Street continue to grow while still holding onto that sense of community that makes Lexington feel like home. I am incredibly grateful to Filomena and all the ladies of Mahj on Main for trusting me with this space and allowing me to be a small part of their story.
