Feeling the Pinch
The next time you’re in the neighborhood, feel free to snip a sprig of mint growing under the front window. I have three varieties of peppermint (including chocolate) thriving and spreading like… well, like mint.

Or you could casually brush your hand over the tops as you round the corner, releasing fragrant mentholated oils into the air while you breathe in that refreshing aroma and immerse yourself in the exhilarating sensation of a cool mountain breeze flowing through your snowy white beard—playfully swirling beneath your billowing kilt… 😳 ~ Gonna be a long week.

Sunglasses at Night
Been thinking—with a Blue Moon rising and framing projects piling up, my best hope for making headway is in those orange sherbet sunset commutes. So for the month of June, Sagittarius fire energy hands over the reins at 5:00 p.m. to Scorpio’s deep water focus—staying later in the shop and driving home by moonlight.

As always, if you see the shop lights on, just pull the door, tap on the glass, or slide a note through the mail slot. ~ The framing doesn’t stop when the sun goes down.

BAD SQUIRREL!
Morning after—found in front of the shop before opening: one freshly dug hole in the mulch, a half-eaten nut at the entrance, cigarette butts on the walkway, and an empty nip bottle under the pansies to wash it all down.
~ Only thing missing is the chalk outline on the pavement.

Salt and Sands of Time
It doesn’t matter if you’re a tourist or a native—once you cross the bridge or step off the ferry, it feels like home, whether you’re there for a weekend or the whole summer. Memorial Day marks the official start to the season of collecting memories and mementos for your Cape and Islands shadowbox.

Bring me your gatherings to be framed when you get back.
~ I’m here year-round.

“Excuse me… is that a Picasso in your pocket?”
Or just another priceless keepsake you can’t bear to let go.

You know, those seemingly ordinary little objects you gather along the way — the ones that hold a quiet, timeless power. Nestled in the nostalgic nooks and crannies between meaning and memory — stashed in a jewelry box, pressed between the pages of a sketchbook, or tucked in the jacket pocket you haven’t worn in years.

These are more than random trinkets. They’re fragments of a larger story, patiently waiting to be creatively curated and framed in a narrative shadowbox. ~ Maybe now is the time.

I’m Gonna Be
Rule of thumb around here: 5 miles / 15 minutes—the shortest distance between two points. That’s the sweet spot for most folks when shopping local (with exceptions). So if I’m gonna be an exception to the rule—then I’m gonna be the one who delivers exceptional service.

YES —absolutely.
I would drive 100 miles,
And I would drive 100 more,
Just to be the man who drove 200 miles
To deliver framing to your door.

~ FREE* (with exceptions)

A Work in Progress
Go all in on mastering a skill and something transformative gets forged in the fire.
Over time—resolve builds, and purpose takes root.

THIS is the internal combustion that drives you through the daily grind of making a living with the craft that chose YOU . . . more than 40 years ago.

Best part? ~ You. Just. Keep. Getting. Better.
