𝗔𝗻 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻! 🏡

This kitchen remodel in Liberty Center was a pretty incredible transformation! It's honestly hard to believe its even the same kitchen 🤯

What started as a full gut turned into a much brighter, more open, and functional space for this family to enjoy.

We widened the opening between the kitchen and living room, updated the electrical and plumbing, and installed beautiful two-tone cabinetry, quartz countertops, floating shelves, and Craftsman-style trim.

One of the biggest improvements is just how much more countertop and storage space this family gained. The spacious new island is where they do most of their food prep, and all that additional storage makes the kitchen work so much better for their everyday needs.

There are some great little details, too, like the under-cabinet outlets, updated lighting, and instant hot water system with reverse osmosis.

The homeowners even tackled much of the demolition and flooring themselves, helping them put more of their budget toward the things that mattered most to them.

Our foreman, Jared, made a great point about this project: "𝘐𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘭. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥."

And we couldn't be happier with how this one turned out!

The homeowners shared:

"𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘢 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘩, 𝘶𝘱𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦."

A big shoutout to Jared and the crew for the work they put into this one! 👏

⚡ SUBCONTRACTOR SPOTLIGHT ⚡

When you see a finished KCS bathroom, you're seeing the work of more than just the people on our own team.

We have some pretty incredible trade partners who help bring our projects together, and we think they deserve a little recognition, too.

For several years, we've had the pleasure of working alongside Joe DeRosa of Premier Shower Glass, and he continues to be someone we can count on with complete confidence. Joe brings exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and precision to every custom glass installation, always keeping quality and longevity at the forefront.

Beyond is expertise, Joe's reliability, clear communication, and unwavering integrity make him an invaluable partner to our team. He consistently shows up with a smile, a positive attitude, and a commitment to doing things right.

We're grateful for the relationship we've built with Joe and proud to have him as part of the KCS extended family!

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤'𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝘾𝙎?

We asked the guys that question during our recent team retreat, and here's what they had to say...

We're hiring, but we're not just looking for anyone who needs a job.

We're looking for someone who has experience in the trades, takes pride in what they do, and is looking for more than just another construction job.

Someone who wants to keep learning and growing. Who values relationships and wants to be part of a team that genuinely cares about one another. Someone who's looking for meaning and purpose in their work, and a culture that extends beyond the typical 8–4.

We know that kind of environment isn't for everyone. But we also know there are people out there looking for exactly that.

And rather than just tell you what it's like to work here, we thought we'd let the guys speak for themselves.

If this sounds like something you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you.

Know someone who might be a good fit? Send them our way, we'd love to talk with them.

𝗕𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲.

It's one of our B.U.I.L.T. with Intention values, and it applies just as much to the way we treat our clients as it does to the way we show up for each other.

We talk a lot about being able to count on the people around you. And while that might look like having someone's back during a challenge at our team retreat, it looks a little different when we're working in someone's home.

We've heard from homeowners how much they appreciate something as simple as knowing when we'll be back.

Because hearing, “We'll be back to finish that up,” without knowing whether that means tomorrow or next week can be frustrating.

So we made it a standard at KCS that before our foremen leave for the day, they confirm with the homeowner what time the crew plans to return the next day.

It's a small thing. But being reliable isn't always about the big things.

Sometimes it's simply doing what you said you would do, when you said you would do it.
