Jennifer Henry has been a part of our dealer team here at Dovetail Antiques since January 2022. She has been a joy to know and brought a fresh look and sunny disposition into the shop.
It is with a broken heart that I tell you Jennifer lost her battle with cancer and passed away last night. Her husband, Brent, said she was peaceful and even had a little smile on her face.
I know she was being escorted by angels and today she is in paradise in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Join me in praying peace and comfort over her precious family as they work through this time of intense grief.💔🙏

Are you tired of scam calls? We are too. To combat this we have implemented call screening on our business phone. When someone calls our store phone they will be asked to press a random number to be connected. This process works great and eliminates 95% of automated and scam calls. Please allow this minor inconvenience when you are calling the store as we deal with the latest influx of scammers.

This morning I have been enjoying thumbing through the many pages of a "1923 Pine Burr" annual of Beaumont High School. It is fun to see pictures of the young "old town Beaumont" population. I'll post a few of pictures - see if you know anyone. BY the way, this wonderful album is for sale at Dovetail Antiques in beautiful downtown Liberty, Texas.

We are happy to showcase some some Victorian Eastlake marble-top furniture pieces that we just acquired from an estate in Spring. You must see them in person to really appreciate their elegance.

We have finally closed the door on old man winter for this year - I hope! Now we look forward to spring and new beginnings. We are excited to see all our friends who have been a little homebound during the very cold weather. Just a reminder that we are here 6 days a week, 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., so come by to say hello and check out our in-house sales. Hooe to see you soon.

Well, Christmas is over for this year - all the way through the 12th day. So Daughter, Debbie, showed up bright and early this morning and removed the painted characters on our windows, we had fun with the 12 days of Christmas and we hope you enjoyed seeing our fun little characters. The children had fun singing the song with them.
With the vanishing of the window paintings, we thank all of you for shopping with us in the spirit of the season, and send each of you our best wishes for a Happy New Year.
