For those that enjoy the "behind-the-scenes" this is how you utilize padding in embroidery to give more of a 3-D effect!!

I use my right hand below the frame and my left hand above. It takes a little getting use to since I am not left-handed. Here I am embroidering over cotton yarn and wool felt.

I think the happy little clouds are done. This one might finally be ready for mounting. Whew...

I'm sure you guys are getting sick of seeing this one, but I FINALLY finished embroidering the grasses, wild violets, and tiny star flowers. I just need to needle felt the clouds and tighten up the edges and it's done!! Soooooo close...

This one's been on the table for a long time since I put down and come back to it as needed.
