🌷 ✨ Meet the beautiful flower arrangements you'll find in our store.
Pisarcik Flower Farm was established in 1990 by Tom and Elaine Pisarcik as a way for Elaine - who grew up on a vegetable farm down the road - to earn an income from home while raising the couple's growing family. Today the seven Pisarcik children - Mary, David, Becky, Susie, Elizabeth, Meghan, and Daniel - tend 12 greenhouses and a combined 20 acres of heirloom cut flower varieties, perennials, annuals, and herbs that can be found at their garden center and flower shop, as well as farmer's markets, cafes, and boutiques throughout southwestern PA.
The Pisarciks approach raising cut flowers the same way your grandma did - by using what's available and in-season to its greatest advantage. They intentionally work with and promote in-season crops in all of their offerings, from floral workshops and event flowers to naturally dried cut flower and evergreen wreaths, highlighting the distinct beauty, quality, and benefits of simple, tried-and-true cut flower varieties over imported goods. The naturally dried wreaths and bouquets offered at the Ligonier Mercantile are an example of that dedication, extending the life and enjoyment of traditionally, grown PA-hardy cut flowers throughout the fall and winter seasons.
