📣 Advertising, but make it vintage.

Long before pop-up ads, sponsored posts, and targeted marketing, businesses had to catch your attention the old-fashioned way — with bold lettering, bright colors, neon lights, clever slogans, and signs you couldn’t possibly miss.

And decades later? Some of that advertising has become just as collectible as the products it was created to sell.

From Pepsi-Cola and Vernor’s to Harley-Davidson, 7UP, old oil companies, ice cream shops and Detroit newspapers, Plaza is FULL of pieces from advertising history. 🥤📰🏍️

Some are bright and pristine. Some are rusty, faded and perfectly imperfect. Some still light up.

And apparently… one of the advertising clocks is haunted. 👻😂

Apparently the cats have taken over Plaza Antiques…and honestly, we’re just going to let them. 😂

We prowled around the mall and found cats in just about every form imaginable — vintage figurines, glass, pottery, artwork, plush, home décor…and even a couple of VERY big cats. 🐅

Some are cute.
Some are classy.
Some are a little concerned-looking.
And some have clearly seen things. 👀😂

One lap around the mall and somehow the finds just kept getting better. 👀

From a gorgeous vintage embroidered robe and a green chaise to old road signs, carnival glass, collectible bottle caps, retro owl glasses and even a seashell-covered thermometer — because apparently anything can become décor if you believe in yourself. 😂🐚

And yes…we’re already spotting a few hints of spooky season creeping in. 🎃

That’s the fun of shopping an antique mall — you truly never know what you’re going to find around the next corner.
