It is a Nana’s great honor when her college bound grandson elects to take his baby rug with him to college. He is holding his 18 yr old rug and standing on one I gifted him of my old horse Blackie. He is decorating his dorm with them. Proud Nana here. I love you and know you will do well Smith the Boy.

Here are my three projects from our July and August Diane Stoffel classes. The little girl on the horse is my granddaughter Landry, deep in discussion with her dad, my son Will. I think I will call it ‘Daddy’s Girl’. The boy in the red shirt is Will’s 3 year old Tehl, I think that looks like ‘Donkey Training’. Little Treg, only 18 months is in the third rug. I finished my ‘Favorite Things’ story rug. It has horses and dogs and cats, a blue heron that used to visit my pond and of course a Christmas tree, why you can even see my French horn in the corner. I made this to go on the foot of my king size bed, so I had plenty of drawing room. These are easy and fun to draw, a good use of leftovers and you know I love a story rug.
