Lots of sanding belts and disks, a two-yard dumpster full of dust, 35 gallons of finish, a week of labor, and a tube of muscle rub. I really thought I was done with projects this big, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to upgrade the floor at the DelRay. It’s the venue where Amy and I got married.

This is one we called “Miracle on 22nd street”. This customer was told by several that this could not be saved. He did do his own patch without consulting me I told him he did awesome especially since he milled his own flooring for the patch. Just another speechless customer!

Some people would say this floor was completely ruined. They would be somewhat correct. However that doesn’t mean you can’t still turn it into something that has value. The change in this house just based on the smell was worth every penny spent. But the floor turned out remarkably good.
