Some custom orders hold a little extra meaning, and this one truly touched our hearts. ❤️

We had the honor of creating this beautiful, hand-painted turtle Lazy Susan for a friend who will be gifting it to her family in memory of her beloved aunt who has passed away.

Every year, she chooses something turtle-related to gift her family as a special way to keep her aunt's memory alive. How incredibly sweet and meaningful is that?! 🥹💕

We are so grateful to have been trusted to create something that carries such a beautiful sentiment. We hope the family loves this one-of-a-kind piece and that it brings smiles, cherished memories, and a reminder that those we love are never truly forgotten. 💜

Recently, Old Barn Wood Crafts was given the wonderful opportunity to create a custom piece for a coworker's best friend, who was getting married this month! 🥰

It was truly an honor to be trusted with creating something so meaningful for such a special occasion. We absolutely LOVE bringing someone's vision to life, especially when we know it's going to become a lasting keepsake filled with memories for years to come! ❤️

💍🌲 A LITTLE LATE SHARING, BUT TOO SPECIAL NOT TO POST! ❤️

We've been so busy creating and working on new projects that this beautiful custom order somehow slipped through the cracks when it came to sharing it with all of you! Oops! 😂

Back in April, we had the absolute pleasure of creating this custom engraved maple cutting board for the Fetzer wedding! 💕

We loved bringing this special piece to life! The front features a beautiful pine tree design with the Fetzer family name, while the back has the sweet message "it was always you.." along with their wedding date, April 25, 2026. 🥹❤️

It's the little personal touches that make these projects so meaningful to us. Knowing something we handcrafted will become part of someone's home and hold special memories for years to come is one of our favorite parts of what we do!

At Old Barn Wood Crafts, we love creating meaningful pieces, especially when they're for family!

We recently had the pleasure of making this beautiful 36" x 18" custom maple cutting board for Justin's cousin, Kathy, who owns Cousin's Custom Cutting!

Knowing something we handcrafted will be used in her butcher shop to help prepare food that will eventually feed families makes this project extra special. It's rewarding to know our work will play a small part in family meals and memories for years to come! ❤️

💙🖤 A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OFFICER YAHIR MORENO! 🖤💙

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to Officer Yahir Moreno of the Lincoln Police Department for giving Old Barn Wood Crafts the honor of creating our very first custom challenge coin flag! 💙

Officer Moreno had a special request to incorporate his badge into the flag, and we were excited to bring his vision to life!

The badge was carefully laser-engraved, freehand cut using our band saw, and then hand-painted by yours truly! 🎨❤️

This beauty measures approximately 37 inches long and received three coats of spar urethane to protect the wood and showcase its beautiful finish. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

There is something incredibly rewarding about seeing all the time, effort, and love we put into our handcrafted pieces come together, especially knowing they're going to someone so deserving!

💙 We absolutely LOVE supporting our local first responders, and we're honored to create something special for those who dedicate themselves to serving and protecting our communities!

Another year of love, laughter, adventures, and building a life together! ❤️

Marriage is about so much more than the big moments. It's about the little things, the everyday memories, supporting each other's dreams, and choosing each other through all of life's ups and downs.

From being partners in life to becoming partners in business with Old Barn Wood Crafts, we've shared so many adventures, tackled challenges, chased dreams, and probably spent more late nights in the workshop than we ever imagined! 😂🪵

But there's nobody else I'd rather have by my side through all the craziness, the sawdust, the laughter, and everything in between.

Thank you for being my best friend, my biggest supporter, my partner in crime, and the person I get to build this beautiful, sometimes chaotic life with. ❤️
