I was doing some end-of-the-year cleaning and came across this old boxā€¦ and I couldnā€™t believe what was inside. It was completely full of customer punch cards from before COVID. I had to count them ā€” 367 cards.

Thatā€™s 367 people who came to my classes over and overā€¦ who ordered kitsā€¦ and that doesnā€™t even include all the customers who never had punch cards, or all the new faces Iā€™ve met in the last five years. And the 50 women who used to travel year after year by bus from Fargo to spend an hour crafting with us.

Looking at that box hit me hard. When I started this little business 9 years ago, I never imagined it would grow the way it has. Life has changed a lot since then ā€” raising my three boys, navigating the ups and downs of business ā€” and Rusty Wood has changed with it. But I still remember opening my tiny little shop with nothing but a small dreamā€¦ and somehow it became something so much bigger.

I am so incredibly grateful. Year after year, your support has meant everything. Iā€™ve always said I have the best customers, and so many of you have truly become friends.

Thank you for supporting my little shop and the big dream I had almost a decade ago. Iā€™m ending this year with so much gratitude for all of you. ā¤ļø
