Well, it was yet another fun night at The Lititz Springs Inn last night! Local artisan, Mel Salli, provided us an in-depth and personal overview of her inspirations and the clever sources of fabric she utilizes for the beautiful quilts that she creates. Each one that she went over truly had a special meaning. A very inspiring presentation of continued strength and creativity combined when facing life’s challenges. We also learned about Boro stitching, which is a traditional Japanese mending and patching craft. Overall, an evening of new faces, sharing of yarn thanks to Brooke, updates by Suzie on her crocheted mailbox topper heading to England, and new friends being made! And oh, can’t forget the fabulous food and drink prepared by The Lititz Springs Inn! You can’t get any better than this!!! If you missed us this month then we hope to see you in September! 🐑🧶

BUS TRIP TO RHINEBECK SHEEP AND WOOL FESTIVAL!
From our Friends at the Lancaster Spinners and Weavers Guild:
"We are exploring the possibility of organizing a bus trip to the New York Sheep & Wool Festival on Saturday, October 17, 2026.The cost will be 85$ based on 30 passengers and DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR FESTIVAL TICKET. Bus will leave Ephrata Walmart at approximately 630am and will leave Rhinebeck at around 4/430pm.

At this time, we are simply trying to gauge interest before making any commitments. We need to determine whether there is enough interest to justify placing a deposit on a 34-passenger coach bus.

Please note that this is not a guild-sponsored event. Friends and family are welcome, so please help spread the word to anyone who might enjoy the trip.
If you think you would be interested in going, please let us know ASAP . This is not a definite commitment at this point. We have only one week before making a deposit to hold the bus. Your response will help us decide whether to move forward with the planning.

Thank you, and we hope to hear from you soon!

If you have interest or questions please respond to Lancaster Spinners and Weavers Guild at:
