Good design should be an opportunity for everyone; it's about creatively crafting the best design for each individual. Our vision is to provide a

unique and custom design experience with honesty and integrity. TAB Designs specializes in remodels, new construction, CAD drawings for both, and space planning of existing and new furniture. We provide selections for all materials necessary for a home- from exterior stone and its mortar to the sheets placed on the bed. Design is what we know and love, so we brought these skills back to the lake. We wanted to be a part of the community where we both grew up, enjoy living, and see growing around us!

A refined Chapel Hill residence where European charm meets Southern hospitality.

For this project, the goal was to create a home that felt timeless, warm, and cohesive from one space to the next. Natural materials, weathered finishes, thoughtful lighting, custom details, and a muted palette all work together to give the home a sense of casual sophistication.

From the kitchen and living spaces to the bathrooms, closets, and architectural details, every selection was made to support the larger story of the home: elegant, comfortable, and deeply personal.

Services included Interior Design, Lighting Plan, Construction Selections & Finishes, Tile Selection & Designs, Closet Design, and Furniture Plan.

Before the furnishings, finishes, and final layers come together, there’s a foundation of planning, collaboration, and countless design decisions taking shape behind the scenes. In this Chapel Hill home, the kitchen sink became an opportunity to balance old-world character with modern functionality, from the statement unlacquered brass faucet and deep stone sink to the restrained palette and clean sightlines framing the landscape beyond.
