FanciMats started as a custom framing shop 14 years ago which specialized in framing cross-stitch projects. With 2600 sq.

In July 2001 cross stitching supplies were added to the store and have been a mainstay ever since. We have a classroom, a full custom frame shop, and TONS of cross stitching supplies to delight and excite just about everyone that stitches. feet of charts, fabric and fibers, you're sure to find something to ignite your imagination. FanciMats is always happy to do special orders as we love getting whatever you need. In 2008, Cindy Edwards, a cross-stitching enthusiast, became the proud owner of FanciMats and More. I can finally share Cat Tricks by With Thy Needle & Thread. I gifted her to a very special friend last night. I was very happy with my finish as a stand up.

Happy Sunday! I had to share some of the wonderful gifts from our girl trip.
Lori made an absolutely beautiful bag for each of us. Sue made us luggage tags (love the crab material), she also gave us racks for our rulers (what a great idea). Lynda made each of us a box and gave us the panel of Betsy Ross. Love each and every gift! ❤️

Back to reality. What a trip, as always! How can girl time not be some of the best medicine you always need.
Liberty Hill Needleworks in Williamsburg. Wonderful shop and I would say they have almost everything you would ever really need or want.
Willow Grove Primitives, in Williamsburg. Wool and lots of primitive treasures. Mabel had to come home with me, since I could not bring a real sheep home from Williamsburg. ❤️
Delicious food and some very yummy drinks.
We all of course bought lots of projects, as if we needed more projects. ☺️. Already trying to figure 2027 destinations out.

5th Annual Anniversary Girls Trip!

To celebrate America's 250th Birthday we decided to go east. Maryland, Pennsylvania and tomorrow we head to Williamsburg, VA. Day 2 and it has been wonderful.

Primitive Homespuns Wool & Needle works absolutely fabulous! Highly recommend!
Kathy was beyond helpful and a joy to visit with. Her Dad makes beautiful finishing boards and helps out around the shop. Plus her husband helps out as well.

A day I will never forget, 09/11/01. I can't believe it has been 25 years.

I have a heavy heart today as I am sure so many others have as well. A day of reflecting without a doubt.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins picked up on last year's girl trip and finished before the next trip commence's. (Not til the end of September but it will be here before we know it.) It's done also before Fall arrives, so I am ahead of the holiday!
