SOLD. For sale. 1 1/2 HP Economy. Tag is missing but have been told that it's an early type E. Only repair I have seen is a very old weld on the rocker arm. Great compression 1st run I couldn't get it to stop double hitting after playing with the needle and the choke she started ticking away very nicely. Nice little early engine . SOLD R Hornsby & Sons. 3 hp English engine. Imported from New Zealand. Pretty complete from what I see. Looks like only thing missing is the advance/retard lever. The gear guard is there has been previously repaired and seems not quite right will need to be re repaired. There are a couple of small repairs but nothing bad. Excellent compression was told by the previous owner that he had it running. I have not. But have not tried either. Located in Littleton ma.
