Janet's Kitchen Lab （精叻煮場） 精叻煮場 And hopefully this new blog name will stimulate me to write more blog posts again. I am still in process for the changes. Hope will settle soon!

You may now notice that the blog name is no longer Gourmet Traveller 88, this is because it has been some time already that I don't feel this name reflect myself anymore, especially that I am not a frequent traveller so many anymore. I also hope to express myself more in Chinese or Cantonese in the future, a little platform to share my witty thoughts, and feel closer to my hometown. The reason why

I have chosen this name Kitchen Lab is because the kitchen at home is like my playground, cooking is about experimenting, exploring, developing, modifying and adapting! I don't like repeating the same dish all the time and my mom always said that I have all kinds of ideas all the time so after picking the brains of a few blogosphere friends, I have come up a Chinese blog name actually aka 精叻多煮意 which reflects my cooking style and personality, strictly speaking should rephrase as 煮意. However, I can't translate this word by word and Kitchen Lab seems to be closest to my expression.

We celebrated Mother’s Day yesterday so we can play golf today. Got to watch The Devil wears Prada 2 and Japanese dinner impromptu. Many special fish from Japan last night, fresh uni from Hokkaiddo and Mini crabs 🦀 .
