While keeping the basic footprint of this kitchen we still achieved a much fresher look. The cabinets over the peninsula were still needed for storage, but removing soffits in most areas allowed for the taller wall cabinetry.
A stunning, charcoal mosaic tile gave a beautiful contrast to the light cabinets and countertop.
We opted for a more sculptural range hood in a stained finish.
The dramatic new breakfast table light just adds to the update.
Also, unique is the additional storage and counter area where the laundry used to occupy. It's so much more open and really added to the functionality of the kitchen.
