Gotta say I'm a bit addicted to pecans in my apple cobnler/pie. This set was half under the cobbler and half put on top halfway through the cooking time. On top was the winner.
I might pull out my pecan pie recipe next time to try to make it a gooier topping.

No Internet today. It's just annoying and threw off my day. Hopefully it'll be fixed tomorrow. Still working on flowers ...

I recently ran across a recipe for pecan praline apple pie. Disappointingly, it just made a caramel sauce, added pecans, and dumped it on top of the baked apple pie.
I usually just make cobbler since it's easier. I made a praline-ish streusel I put on top. Pretty good, but it cooked hard. I'll try putting it under the cobbler dough next, or maybe just washing it halfway through the cooking time.

I got a small restocking in for my short scarves. These waist scarves are about 3.5x42". I love those flowers (working on another throw in them) and the orchid scarf was an amazing way to use that woven yarn I didn't like (it was supposed to be for bears).

While I had the heavy cotton out I added a few more to my inventory. I like to string them with a tie so you can tighten it around your soap bar as it gets smaller.
I keep my soap in one all the time. I just lossen the scrubby yarn from the surface before using it so it's loose enough to create friction and bubbles.
