Hey Wanderlust Farmhouse Fam!
It’s been a while and it’s nice to see ya! I figured it was about time for an update, so here goes…
Last summer we decided to sell our house and property in the beautiful Bull Run area of Sandy Oregon. After COVID life and the removal of a cancerous tumor, we wanted to head out on the adventure of a lifetime in our 5th wheel and see what more this life had in store for us ✌🏼
Starting in Oregon, making our way to the southeast for a month, up to Maine for a couple weeks, and all the way back to the west coast… It’s been a summer for the books, an unforgettable life changing adventure chapter!
We visited family, many different national parks, SUP’d in alligator waters, hiked mountains, studies history, ate local foods, got stung by jellyfish, felt real dinosaur bones, caught fireflies and huge grouper fish, mined for diamonds, got soaked by Niagara Falls, and kayaked in Tennessee among some of the memories.
Without much communication though, to my customers and biggest fans I dropped off this platform and began to get ready for our adventure last December. This meant closing up my little work shop and not making signs for a while. It was a hard decision because I love it! I am a creative maker with an entrepreneurial heart and I was truly loving what I was doing, was seeing big growth in it as a business, and had so many visions.
We are still on the road, however buttoned down in California for a bit to get on a normal homeschool routine and so Joey can work for a while. We are looking to put our roots down again eventually because I’m really excited to get back to making. I truly have a lot of dreams of where this could go and the ways I can give back to this beautiful world and country we live in.
Adventure aside, I still am that creative entrepreneur and have some things up my sleeve I am dreaming up to do while on the road and living in a trailer that expands Wanderlust Farmhouse a bit until we get back into a place I can make signs and other products again!
I’ll be back soon with an update on what I’ve been working on!
For now…. Thanks for still being here and supporting me! Love to you all!
