A little throwback to this bohemian photo shoot for Herlife magazine from 2013 with flowing dresses, rich colors and lush bouquets. It’s a beautiful reminder that some inspiration never loses its charm!

What I love most is how relevant the flowers still feel today. Peonies, scabiosa, veronica, amaranthus and ranunculus continue to have a place in romantic, garden-inspired floral designs. Their mix of lush petals, delicate texture, and movement captures that relaxed, freshly gathered feeling we loved back then—and still love now.

Thirteen years later, this shoot still speaks to my love of flowers with personality. A little wild, a little whimsical, and full of personality and color.

One of those designs I still absolutely love. ✨

There’s something about a rich, jewel-toned palette that feels so effortlessly romantic—rich greens, soft lavender, saturated purples, and layers of lush texture.

And that Coral Charm peony was the perfect unexpected element. 🌸 Its vibrant coral tone brought just the right pop of brightness and contrast, adding dimension and keeping the palette from feeling too monochromatic.

Sometimes life takes you down a path you never expected—and sometimes that path is exactly where you’re meant to be.

After many years of creating wedding flowers and building a career in floral design, I made the decision to step away and make a change. I wanted to spend more time with my son and also take on a completely different kind of work—helping special-needs children in a school setting. It has been a season of learning, growing, and finding purpose in a whole new way.

Taking that time away from weddings gave me something I desperately needed: time. Time with my son, time to be present, and time to appreciate just how many different ways there are to make a difference.

But if I’m being honest… I’ve missed the flowers. 🌸

So when I booked my first wedding for 2027, I was beyond excited. It reminded me that the creative part of me never really went away—it was simply waiting for the right moment to bloom again. 🤍

I’m so excited to start prepping flowers, designing, creating, and doing what I’ve loved for so many years.

Here’s to new chapters, unexpected paths, beautiful little detours, and finding your way back to the things that make your heart happy. ✨
