What a surreal and beautiful experience it was to watch our precious girl cook alongside Paula Deen Eleanor has always been such a bright spot in our lives and it was so fun to see her sharing her joy in the kitchen. We made steak tacos and shared a delicious meal together.

We might have to share more videos of our family recipes with the help of our little chef.

Our family is so grateful for the opportunity to share about our cookware!

Anyone who knows my mama knows she’s a magician in the kitchen. These steaks turned out incredible! She was nervous until we stepped into Mrs. Paula’s kitchen and felt right at home.

I hope you all enjoy this video of Bertie and Paula cooking on our skillets!

Sending a huge shout out to Ale House 1890 for supplying the most delicious meat and risotto for this trip.

We made tortillas to go with these delicious steaks. A special little chef helped make the tortillas — we will share about that soon! 😉

Happy new year! 🥳 Thank you to all of you who have made the choice to support our family business. We were blessed in so many ways this past year and we’re excited to see what this year brings. As you all noticed we had a short break in class scheduling, but we’re back and ready for more classes!

Some of what we’ve been up to— This past month and a half we were out of state taking down a historic bridge to restore in Michigan. Bridge restoration is one of our many passions.

In late September we enjoyed attending the SOFA Quadstate Blacksmithing conference in Troy, OH. Doug made some over the top anvil sculptures and the one pictured above we raffled off to raise funds for our Blacksmithing Classes!

The big reveal! We were honored with the challenge of making a HUGE meat cleaver for The Bearded Butchers. Papa (Doug Lockhart) is such an incredible artist to make this wild idea come to life. Truly an over the top piece.

You can always count on Papa to blow your mind with his vision of a project before it even begins.

Patrick documented along the way and even with the Timelapse and shortened clips, you still get an idea of how much effort went into this by our team.
