In the Edwardian era, "gilded age" , Wild West shows. This figurine as a commemorative souvenir of Buffalo Bill Cody Wild West shows. This would typically be found in the Gentleman's Parlor of smoking room. This particular example has the lasso intact. They are usually long gone of most examples. A quality example of a rare piece of commemorative history. Open 10-6

Latest delivery of antiques and some really fine antiques. This is an antique French-style fall-front bureau or writing desk, 19th century (Napoleon III or Louis XV style), crafted with wood marquetry, gilt bronze or brass mounts, and hand-painted floral porcelain plaques. Simply one of the best ones we have seen. In doing our research on this piece we have located only two for sale one in Paris and one in Norway. Incredibly desirable high-quality desk. Open 10-6.

JUST IN: This is a Beardsley Chandelier. Edwardian era circa 1900-1915 The Chicago-based company produced brass light fixtures and chandeliers during the early 20th century. This is a rare combination electro-gasolier, and the gas part has never been converted. It appears to have been rewired at some point with new wiring. Fixture is 38 inches tall. Highly desirable Light fixture. Open 10-6.

Busy weekend, Thanks to everyone who stopped in. Several of you noted the "staging room" had some space in it ...and... we have another significant shipment coming in. This will be one of our best shipments. Not heavy on furniture (but we do have a couple of great pieces coming in), but a lot of quality smaller pieces as we get ready for the holidays. Some great art and sculpture, antique lighting, some stunning 19th century French pieces, Victorian Bed and a rare Edison cylinder player! We will let you know when the truck arrives but we don't think some of these pieces will be in the shop for long. Open 10-6
