Y’all know what tomorrow is!! Market Day!! Woo hoo!!
Man oh man, have I got some goodies for y’all! I’ve crocheted my little ole fingers near to the bone, and Cousin Louann has been busy creating new porch goose outfits!
So here we go with this week’s lineup!
First up, I wanted to get back to making some smaller, more affordable pieces, and I’m loving what I’ve come up with so far! I have several adorable baby brontosauruses as well as pocket bunny rabbits. I mean, how sweet are these?!? They do have safety eyes, so you’ll need to keep an eye on the littles. I don’t recommend them for children under 3 years old.
I also did a restock of the Swaddle Dinos! Several of you have been asking when I’d make more, and I promised I’d let y’all know when they were back. Well, here ya go!
Next up is the sweetest little astronaut. My cousin keeps telling me I need to watch Project Hail Mary (which I still haven’t done yet), and she was the inspiration behind this plush.
Then Sister saw a strawberry cow the other day and said, “Oh girl, you need to make one of those!” She also saw a cookie cow, and that’s next on the list! 😂 Anyway, this sweet little strawberry cow is the result of that conversation.
Of course, for some reason, all of us in this geographical area absolutely love possums! Don’t ask me why, but we do. I realized I hadn’t made a possum in a while, and this one just seemed to sing to me, “Make me, make me!” So I did!
My last new item ties in perfectly with Cousin Louanne’s porch goose outfits. I’ve made desk geese with outfits before, so I thought, why not a shelf goose too? Crochet Grove has an amazing shelf goose pattern, and I just had to add her to the goose collection!
Now, I don’t know if Facebook will let me attach all the pictures in one post. If not, I’ll make a separate post featuring the porch goose outfits.
But seriously… how stinkin’ cute are these outfits?!? Louann has absolutely burnt it up this week! We’ve stripped poor Greta so many times for fashion shows and modeling sessions that it isn’t even funny. 😂
As always, the London Laurel County Farmers Market is open Saturday from 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
Come hungry because my gals from Acres of Grace Farm KY will be there cooking up a storm! Produce is starting to come in, and I hear tell the first blueberries and blackberries of the season will be making an appearance tomorrow.
We have so many amazing vendors that it’s hard to name them all, but in my opinion, we have some of the best farmers, cooks, bakers, canners, and crafters around.
Be sure to stop by and see us!
