Y’all know what tomorrow is!! Market Day!! Woo hoo!!

Man oh man, have I got some goodies for y’all! I’ve crocheted my little ole fingers near to the bone, and Cousin Louann has been busy creating new porch goose outfits!

So here we go with this week’s lineup!

First up, I wanted to get back to making some smaller, more affordable pieces, and I’m loving what I’ve come up with so far! I have several adorable baby brontosauruses as well as pocket bunny rabbits. I mean, how sweet are these?!? They do have safety eyes, so you’ll need to keep an eye on the littles. I don’t recommend them for children under 3 years old.

I also did a restock of the Swaddle Dinos! Several of you have been asking when I’d make more, and I promised I’d let y’all know when they were back. Well, here ya go!

Next up is the sweetest little astronaut. My cousin keeps telling me I need to watch Project Hail Mary (which I still haven’t done yet), and she was the inspiration behind this plush.

Then Sister saw a strawberry cow the other day and said, “Oh girl, you need to make one of those!” She also saw a cookie cow, and that’s next on the list! 😂 Anyway, this sweet little strawberry cow is the result of that conversation.

Of course, for some reason, all of us in this geographical area absolutely love possums! Don’t ask me why, but we do. I realized I hadn’t made a possum in a while, and this one just seemed to sing to me, “Make me, make me!” So I did!

My last new item ties in perfectly with Cousin Louanne’s porch goose outfits. I’ve made desk geese with outfits before, so I thought, why not a shelf goose too? Crochet Grove has an amazing shelf goose pattern, and I just had to add her to the goose collection!

Now, I don’t know if Facebook will let me attach all the pictures in one post. If not, I’ll make a separate post featuring the porch goose outfits.

But seriously… how stinkin’ cute are these outfits?!? Louann has absolutely burnt it up this week! We’ve stripped poor Greta so many times for fashion shows and modeling sessions that it isn’t even funny. 😂

As always, the London Laurel County Farmers Market is open Saturday from 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Come hungry because my gals from Acres of Grace Farm KY will be there cooking up a storm! Produce is starting to come in, and I hear tell the first blueberries and blackberries of the season will be making an appearance tomorrow.

We have so many amazing vendors that it’s hard to name them all, but in my opinion, we have some of the best farmers, cooks, bakers, canners, and crafters around.

Be sure to stop by and see us!

🌙 Late Night Post! 🌙

I was getting things ready and realized I never shared my desk goose prototype! This is the goose I use to test out new outfit ideas on. 😂

Recently, one of my sweet customers told me that her desk goose, Margaret, needed a bikini. Well, I was absolutely up for that challenge! While we were talking, I asked if there were any other outfits she might want. She was thinking it over, and I said, “Wouldn’t it be fun if your goose had a band uniform like you wear?” She immediately loved the idea!

Now, this customer has been supporting me for years, and I just think the world of her. So I decided to add a little surprise. I secretly teamed up with her momma (okay, conspired might be a better word 🤣) and asked what instrument she played.

Y’all… she plays the tuba.

I said, “Well, I don’t know if I can pull that off, so don’t say anything to her just in case!” 🤪

But after a lot of trial and error, this is my feeble attempt at a tiny tuba! 🎺 (Well… tuba! 😂)

I can’t wait for her to stop by and pick up her new goose outfits and discover the surprise. I sure hope she loves it as much as I loved making it for her! ❤️

Sometimes the best part of what I do is getting to create something a little extra special for people who have supported me along the way. 🥰🪿🎶💛

Prepping for market and getting everything loaded up for tomorrow morning! It’s gonna be a great day! We’ve got a couple of new things for y’all this week, and I hope you love them as much as I do!

First up is a mini Paddington Bear plush. He’s so soft you’ll want to squish him all day long!

Next, we have steamed dumplings! You get to choose your dumpling, and each one comes with its own little steamer box. Don’t ask me why, but just like the sardines from a couple of weeks ago, I am absolutely obsessed with these!

I made a few cows for this week, and y’all know I already love cows. Throw some clothes on them, though, and they become downright adorable! I even used glitter safety eyes on these, which makes them even cuter.

Of course, you can’t have cows without a pig too! 😂 As usual, my pig isn’t your typical pig. She’s ready for summer and has her bikini on (or as my cousin used to say when he was little, her “zucchini” 🤣). I thought about adding an ice cream cone but decided against it. What do y’all think?

I also made a little Luffy fidget toy. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but his arms and legs pull and stretch so you can fidget with him. I love anything I can twiddle with!

Last but certainly not least is Cleo the Chameleon. Not only is he made with super-soft chenille yarn, but his tongue is a party blower that kiddos can actually blow! I know some of y’all parents may hate me for the noise, but they are so much fun!

For safety reasons, I won’t put the blowers in the chameleons until after purchase. We all know how kiddos are—if I show them what it does, they’ll blow every single one of them before the day is over! 😂

So be sure to come see us tomorrow from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the London Laurel County Farmers Market! Come hungry and grab breakfast from the kitchen, then take a stroll around and check out all the amazing vendors. You never know what treasure you might find!

So which one is your favorite from this weeks new drop?

Y’all I had every intention of being at the London Laurel County Farmers Market tomorrow but plans have changed! 🤦‍♀️ You know how my luck has been running the last year? Well this week the hits just keep on coming! lol

Yesterday I cracked a tooth. According to my dentist I’m an overachiever and not only cracked it, but a whole big old chunk of it came out. 🤪 Cracked it right to the pulp and it had already started a small abscess at the tip of the root!

So I had two choices — root canal, fill the hole, and put a crown on it (I mean every girl dreams of having a crown but momma don’t got dental insurance and she’s cheap 🤣) OR pull the tooth. I took option number two!

Right now I’m still semi numb, but the feeling has started coming back and I have a feeling I’m not gonna like the way I feel once it comes back fully. 😬

So y’all go see my friends at the market tomorrow! There are a ton of things going on around town this weekend so I know everyone will stay busy. I hope y’all have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

And while you’re enjoying time with family and friends, please keep our troops, military families, active service members, and veterans in your thoughts and prayers. To all our veterans — from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your service, sacrifice, and love for this country.

Just wanted to hop on here and remind y’all we (that’s just me - sis will be at market but leaving early) won’t be at the London Laurel County Farmers Market tomorrow. Second weekend in a row for family reunions! We are headed out to Calloway Creek Barn for the Williams Family Reunion. After this we should be good to go! lol

Even though we won’t be there, don’t forget to swing by and see all our amazing vendor friends! Grab some breakfast, sweet treats, fresh baked breads, beautiful fresh flowers, and so many amazing handmade crafts. You are bound to find something you just can’t live without!

If you aren’t following the London Laurel Farmers Market page yet, you definitely need to! Kazzi King does a wonderful job posting all the new products, produce, and goodies available each market day.

Little word of advice though — if you want fresh cut flowers from Bent Pine Farm or fresh baked sourdough and scones from Little Cottage Sourdough you better get there early! They have both been selling out every single week we’ve been open!!

Market is open every Saturday from 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM, May through October. We’ll miss seeing everyone tomorrow, but hope yall go out and support all the wonderful vendors!
