Did you go with poor quality floors and bad installers? 😟
We get it-- flooring can be pricey, and you want the most for your money! But choosing the cheapest option from a big box store... then finding yourself at the mercy of inexperienced installers without a proven track record can land you with unexpected repair costs before you know it.
That's because:
👉 Lower quality floors tend to be much less resistant to everyday wear and tear.
👉 Cheaper floors often don't include extra protections like water and scratch resistance.
👉 Big box stores may offer a lower sticker price for the floors themselves, but that price does NOT usually include installation. Unless you're planning to install the floors yourself, you'll spend a lot more time and money finding and vetting a team on your own.
👉 If your big box store DOES offer installation as an option, there's still no way of knowing the level of experience, skill, or trustworthiness those installers will bring to your job.
