Finally Another Wire Class
Hearts For your Heart!
Valentines day is right around the corner, so why not make "Hearts". Hearts are perfect for gifts any time of the year and in this class you will learn how to perfect them using wire. You will also learn the basics of wire weaving. During the year I hope to accelerate our weaving skills to a more complex level, so this is the basic class to prepare you to take the more complex classes. If you look online you will be fascinated at the complexity and the beauty of this technique..sooo let’s play with wire again. Susie Edwards Wow! We put so many smiles on faces yesterday. Somehow simply saying thank you does not seem enough for all the hard work everyone put in…but here it is “Thank You” to all the volunteers who showed up yesterday at Miller’s. I do believe that we get better at this every year and by the mere fact that we had to shut the beading booth down with clients still beading verifies that they love what we are sharing
Rosa and Deanna the drive from San Diego to Long Beach shows how dedicated you are to giving and every year you earn more wings…and Rosa Meyer the angels you made and shared were as beautiful as you are. The left over angels will go in beading kits to be distributed to hospitals throughout Southern California during the year…trust me I know I will be begging you to make more.
To Susan Lindberg and Nina McMullen what can I say except you had my back, you anticipated exactly what we needed before I was able to say it.
To all the other volunteers including Martha, Chris, Sylvia, Nancy and all the other volunteers I am at a loss for words…The children and their families thank you for making their Christmas special.
oops forgot to thank Carin for the donation of the kettle corn, it was so delicious and it disappeared fast.

This year's party will be a little different. 🎄 I'm focusing on in our community. Making our space available to local makers, and so they can shine this holiday🌟. FREE TO PARTICIPATE. We'll have vendors on the sidewalk and food indoors. Spaces still available. Please RSVP by 1 Dec to save a spot. All vendors will be responsible for their own setup and sale transactions.

Volunteers Needed for Miller Children’s Hospital annual Christmas Party.
It’s that time of year again…The children and families at our annual holiday party need your help. Our beading booth has grown and this year we will have over 30 beading stations.
We need your hands, your heart and your smile to help make Christmas special for the children at Miller’s.

What are you Doing this Saturday..come make this Art Deco Bracelet

Wow it’s been a while since we had a class. Here’s hoping your summer was filled with fun and sun. We are planning more classes since fall is upon us so stay tuned.

In this beauty you will be using all your wire working skills. We will be working with multiple wires to shape this bracelet. You will also be using and perfecting your binding skills. You can make this one in copper. We will have crystal and beads available for your purchase however if you have 6mm crystal or beads bring them for this class. Wire provided. $30.00 Class Fee

The event is next Saturday and she is looking for a few vendors who have jewelry or anything handcrafted to sell..no fee's. Twin Wire Cuffs!!!
Join us at this Saturday's workshop and make two beautiful wire cuffs. This is an introduction to fabricating with heavy gauge wire.

This class is for students who have taken previous wire classes with us. We will be forming, texturing, fabricating and using patina to make these beauties. You will leave the class with one Infinity bracelet and one Celtic cuff. Workshop starts @ 11am. The fee is $25.00 which includes all materials.
