For all the stunning beauty of the Caribbean there is of course the terrible legacy colonization. Each island paradise was of course a land of genocide and slavery for almost 300 years.

This beachfront obolisk was a beacon for 17th century ships to dock and load up on salt from the nearby pools. The slaves that loaded the ships lived in the adjacent tiny huts. The orange color is for the highest grade salt collected and loaded here - from the royal color of the Dutch.

CLINTON HILL TOWNHOUSE - 2022
This landmarked wood frame townhouse was in terrible shape – covered in asphalt shingles and with a partially caved-in roof. The original colorful Victorian façade was restored, a small extension was added to the garden and parlor floor in the rear, the roof was partially raised to create a pair of bedrooms out of the attic, and the interior was fully rebuilt, creating a bright and airy single family home.
