This workshop will provide an opportunity for students to learn plant identification, a bit of natural history, and how to use these otherwise undesirable species to create beautiful colors. Experimentation will include the use of modifiers and mordants, the different processing of plant and animal fibers, and several different methods for obtaining colors.
