The lonely lighthouse keeps watch. The fog rolls in, the water glows underneath the caves. It's an homage to Stephen King's The Mist and it's exactly as unsettling as I wanted it to be. DM me if you'd like your own fog island

We're at Longview Trade Days today with a whole new collection. Nightmare Before Christmas fans — Jack and Sally each got their own terrarium. There's also a fox in a woodland jar, a gnome who clearly owns his forest, Peppa Pig with a ladybird, a fairy cottage, and a toadstool situation that's giving full enchanted forest. Come see them in person — these don't photograph as well as they look in real life.

Part 3: Roxy Migurdia's Terrarium
Part 3 of the Roxy Migurdia build and it nearly ended here. Drilling two holes through thick glass jar base without shattering it — one for drainage, one for the water hose. One crack and this whole build is done. Got through it. Water pump is in, running up through hollow bamboo, fogger added for mist and atmosphere, silicone sealed and curing 24 hours. Part 4 is where it gets real — moss wall, dead tree, rock formation. That's when you'll start seeing Roxy's world actually take shape.

It's the hottest summer on record and I built a jar that rains. Not to be dramatic about it — but when it's 105 outside, you find ways. This one has live plants, moving water, and rainfall inside a vintage glass apothecary jar. It's not air conditioning. But it's something.

Part 2 of the Roxy Migurdia build. Used AR to sketch out the plan — a bridge of rocks and tree branches, hang over a small rock pool in the centre, tropical plants spiralling up around her. Roxy sits on the rocks above the water. All of this going into a 20-inch tall jar with a 3-inch opening. The planning was the easy part. Coming up, Part 3 - prepping for build

We're at the East Texas Psychic Fair in Staybridge Suites, Tyler today upto 5pm. If you've never been, it's worth the drive.
