Happy National Laundry Day! Apparently, it's a real thing! 🧺

We think laundry day is a little more bearable when the space is cute. Good storage, a sink that earns its place, tile that makes you smile every single time. These two rooms are proof that the spaces you use every day deserve just as much thought as the ones you show off.

We've been quiet about this one — a lakeside new construction that we've been part of since the very early stages.

Joining the architect and clients for plan review, working through every spatial decision, and now specifying every finish, fixture, and piece of furniture.

From the first set of drawings to the final pillow — this one has been a full creative investment from the ground up. And we love every minute of it!

Sheetrock is going in. Furniture is being ordered. And we can't wait to show you what's coming. It has been a joy to be a part of the process and we LOVE seeing it all come to life!

One fabric. Two rooms. Completely different conversations.

We used the same botanical print in the primary bath roman shade and as an accent pillow in the bedroom — and that was very much on purpose. When a pattern you love shows up in multiple spaces, it creates a quiet thread that ties a home together without feeling matchy. The key is letting it lead in one place and support in another.

In the bath, it leads. In the bedroom, it settles in.

This project was one of those spaces that came together through careful layering. The result is a carefully curated space where each selection had to earn its place.

This room started as a blank space space after a previous renovation—functioning, cleaned up, but lacking personality and purpose. Our client wanted a study that could host real life: workdays, friends over, family game nights… and a little quiet when the house is busy.

So we leaned into color drenching, wrapped the built-ins and walls in a deep green, then added brass accents, velvet drapery, and art + objects that feel personal. The best part? Well, we really can't decide! The color matched, velvet drapes? The art frame tv? The coffee table that transforms into a game table? We love it all. ✨
