Waking up 🧡☀️ Feeling extra appreciative of our little butterfly-roof 1959 William Krisel designed home after another magical ✨ We went to our first Mod Week in 2017 and on the way home went on Zillow and found this special spot. It’s given us so much since and I often credit this home to launching my interior design career 🙌 More Mod week recap coming soon, peep the stories for some amazing tours from yesterday 😍

Career paths are not often linear, and mine definitely has had a lot of unexpected turns! I opened up on the blog all about my journey from working corporate design, to starting my own clothing line, and now doing interiors/textiles. A big part of that process is letting past versions and identities of yourself go to make room for bigger better opportunities. I go deep in this interview on how it’s been to shift my focus from , which hasn’t been easy! If you’re not overly animated with sweeping hand gestures on camera, you’re doing it wrong 😂 Just wrapped an exciting shoot with and am dying that I’m doing the same face and hands in EVERY SINGLE BTS SHOT. Guess it’s my signature 🤷‍♀️💁‍♀️🙆‍♀️🤦‍♀️

✨ New bedroom reveal ✨ Purple is a color I usually shy away from when designing interiors because it can sometimes come off as “little girls room”. But you know I love a challenge, and I think it actually ended up being the most ~mature~ and ~moody~ bedroom I’ve ever done 💜 Brining in the natural textures with this gorg bed, side tables, and dresser really grounded this space. And my wallpaper collection is popping with primary and secondary prints I designed to mix and match! I couldn’t be more in love with how it turned out 🥹 Of course I’m adding art and am going to play with printed sheets, but couldn’t wait to share hehe. Lmk what you think 🫶

In our gardening era ☀️ Our new house is in on a quarter acre hillside full of fruit trees, which is such a rarity in LA real estate 🥹🌿 We are SO lucky to have this amazing land, but also the pressure is ON to take good care of it. Today was our first day getting out in the garden and doing some much needed maintenance like pruning and clearing weeds/vines. We are total novices when it comes to any of this, but so excited to learn and share! Stay tuned as we turn this place into a beautiful orchard and live our dreams 🫶😉
