OH MY! What a crowd at JANM for Kokoro2023! Very preliminary visitors/shoppers numbered about 1920 and when you add volunteers, staff, vendors that's an additional 200 making the total about 2100! It is one of the larger crowds we have had in 15 years!
Attendance to the show and museum was FREE and staff and volunteers were rushing around to assure that the experience for every attendee would be a great one at this Great venue the Japanese American National Museum(JANM).
We had pre-order bentos and a new plaza Bento Bistro eating area, live music on the Plaza by Nao and Sunset Jive and a very impressive Bombu Taiko group.
The Kokoro2023 committee thanks everyone for their support in giving to the museum's cultural and educational programs. This support comes in many ways by attendance, shopping, eating bentos, museum membership, buying raffle tickets, seeing the museum exhibits, giving monetarily through Sponsorships and spreading the message of the mission of the museum.
