Made in France ~Circa 1820~

This iconic Louis XVI “Montgolfier” balloon-back chair. Crafted by 18th-century master menuisiers like Jean-Baptiste Demay
was first offered by “La Ville de Paris” to the brothers Montgoffier.
Note the shape of the back like a Montgoffier and decorated with a “M”.

From raw pine to this stunning custom piece! ✨
Watch the full transformation: I refinished this beautiful hutch from its natural wood state, painted it in this rich teal green (Benjamin Moore, spellbound 1659), added gorgeous floral wallpaper to the back, and delivered it to its new home. The before and after is everything!
Every project is so satisfying — taking something old and giving it new life with fresh color and details.

✨ Another truly charming customized antique piece brought back to life! ✨…

We started by fully sanding this beauty to reveal its stunning original wood grain — highlighting those gorgeous curved legs and exquisite hand-carved details.

Our client, Tia, wanted a rich color update to perfectly match her home, while still celebrating the natural beauty of the wood.

Using Old Masters Gel Stain and all the care, expertise & love we pour into every project, we delivered exactly what she envisioned 💫

The result? A one-of-a-kind masterpiece you’ll fall in love with the moment you see it!
