Our hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. The loss of life, destruction of homes, and displacement of families are truly heartbreaking.

Through Rug Icon’s many years of working with talented artisans and trusted partners in Nepal—people like our dear supplier and friend, Indra—we have come to know the extraordinary kindness, dignity, resilience, and generosity of the Nepalese people. Nepal is much more than a place where our rugs are made; it is home to people who have become an important part of the Rug Icon family.

For those who are able and would like to help, the Government of Nepal has established the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund to support rescue, relief, and recovery efforts for affected families:

Watching the devastation caused by these powerful floods is heartbreaking. Nepal is a country very close to us at Rug Icon. Through our work there, we have had the privilege of knowing and working alongside incredibly kind, humble, hardworking people and talented artisans.

Natural disasters have no boundaries and no mercy. Seeing families and communities affected like this reminds us how fragile life can be.
