This candle’s fragrance and scent profile pays homage to and honors my Peace Corps experience in Madagascar. The town of Sambava is the regional capital of the SAVA region in northern Madagascar where I served for 2 years in the Peace Corps.

This candle’s scent is rich, elevated by warm vanilla, elevated by woody cashmere and sweet amber, and rounded out with slightly detectable notes of florals of jasmine and peach blossom and hints of citrus.

Imagine a crisp winter night, the crunch of new fallen snow beneath your feet, and the brisk scent of pine tickling your nose. The combination of alpine balsam and lavender fragrance oils captures a woodsy Colorado scene beautifully.

This candle's scent is where sparkling champagne and citrus top notes merge with a heart of lavender, balsam, and cedar before melting into a bed of moss mixed with woodsy pine, juniper, and patchouli.

MIDDLE: H**p, Cedar, Benzoin & Sandalwood

BASE: Powder, Dark musk, Amber & Vetiver

Native to India but grown throughout the tropics, Vetiver has been been used for centuries to naturally enhance perfumes, foods, and medicines. I created a custom fragrance oil for this candle, so it exudes a sophisticated mix of citrus, musk, and earthiness that creates an uplifting, soothing, and calming aroma. In Asia, vetiver is beloved for its woody & smoky aroma that has perfumed temples and houses for centuries.

This candle’s scent is rich with amber and a warm, earthy blend of sandalwood and musk. Top notes of airy ozone and a hint of citrus open up to a sandalwood core that’s smoothed out with the light, sweet and vanilla-like aroma of benzoin.

BASE: Sandalwood, Peppercorn, Oud & Rum

Madagascar is rich in culture, history, and fragrance. During my time in the Peace Corps, I worked with to***co and clove farmers, spent a lot of time in the woods, and sampled the local rum - for R&D purposes, of course - as someone from a part of the world known for world-class rum.

I knew I wanted to create a woodsy, complex, and unique scent that captured the magic of Madagascar in as many ways as possible. And after much experimentation, it came together perfectly.

This is a bold, complex fragrance with wide appeal. It leads with spicy top notes of allspice & sweet amaretto. Middle notes of clove, balsam & tonka bean blend into the woody, deep base of sandalwood, oud, and rum.

MIDDLE: Bamboo, Green Floral & Lavender

BASE: Coconut Milk & Coconut

The scent is reminiscent of my childhood. It reminds me of my mom making fresh lemongrass and mint tea in the mornings and eating freshly grown pineapples on a hot day at the beach. The fragrance oils I combined created this luxurious marriage of fresh bamboo and smooth coconut. This candle brings a spa atmosphere to any space and is an airy, ozonic escape from the everyday.

This scent has broad, year-round appeal and is a great choice for both upscale and naturally-focused fragrance preferences.
