Brownie Refrigerator Cake π«βοΈ
Ingredients
For the Brownie Layer:
1 box brownie mix
1 extra-large egg
For the Cream Cheese Layer:
1 package cream cheese (8 oz.), softened
1 cup powdered sugar
For the Topping:
2 containers whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
Instructions
1οΈβ£ Prepare the Brownie Layer:
Follow the instructions on the brownie mix box to prepare the batter, incorporating the extra-large egg as directed.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake according to the package instructions.
Once baked, allow the brownies to cool completely.
2οΈβ£ Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer:
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, continuing to beat until well combined and fluffy.
3οΈβ£ Assemble the Cake:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled brownie layer.
Top with the whipped topping, spreading it smoothly to cover the cream cheese layer.
