TWENTY ONE TONNES

TWENTY ONE TONNES Thoughtfully crafted pieces for interiors | Designed by Chessa Osburn + Mary Jane Bolton

Twenty One Tonnes is a celebration of traditional craft and global style. Partners Chessa Osburn and Mary Jane Bolton are based in Vancouver, BC. We're drawn to objects that are at once ancient and modern, functional and aesthetic. We strive to do trade in a way that supports tradition and sustainability, which means working with small scale artisans and family businesses to bring you quality hand

made products that are made with natural and recycled materials. Collections are therefore limited, and no two products are exactly alike.

Agnes Baddoo’s home, a few steps from Central Park, is calm and layered, filled with natural materials and objects gathered from years of travel and making.

is known for her leather goods brand, built on minimalist forms and traditional craft. She came to design through styling and the magazine world, shaped by a Ghanaian father who brought home wood carvings and kente cloth and a Jamaican grandmother who wove and crocheted.

We’re glad to count Agnes among our friends, and to see a few of our pieces woven into the home she’s built.
