I had the rare treat today to have a tour of the famed now called the Safran / Schnabel house because it is now owned by Thomas Safran who has lovingly restored, repaired and improved the property.
A house like this one makes you question everything about how we live and occupy spaces.

Some of the work I am most proud of is the design work I do with I have been serving on the board of HOLA for 23 years and am beyond proud of the lives we have touched in that time. HOLA has numerous with partner organizations and this week one of those collaborations bore fruit. We have been working with the (Watts Labor Community Action Committee) to provide programming for their youth members. The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation generously gifted funds to establish a to teach underserved youth computer programming and skills. So in collaboration with the and the I assisted in the design of a new tech lab at the WLCAC home in Watts. We opened the newly designed space this week with a ribbon cutting, speeches, and a demonstration of some cutting edge technology curtesy of The Hidden Genius Project What a beautiful new resource our next generation of promising youth now have thanks to everyone involved.
