Here is my December in a nutshell 🎄

The holidays and more specifically Christmas never feels quite right in LA. Not sure if it’s the palm trees (call me Kevin McCallister) or the 75 degree heat (although my gray-sky-loving-heart appreciated the rain on the 25th) or if it’s just the lack of decorations mildly peppered around town (once you’ve visited England around this time then you’ll understand). It was definitely a quieter one this year but a moment where I was able to be creative outside of my day-to-day and create special memories for my mini me (even if I’ll be the only one to remember them this year) 🎅🏻

I had every intention of posting these at the beginning of October… and somehow it’s November. Time always seems to move a little faster these days ☺️

Taken from my recent-ish trip to the UK. I usually stay in central London, but this time I rented an Airbnb in De Beauvoir. It was such a treat to slow down and pretend to be a local again 🍂

Finally getting around to posting again which feels alien as IG/social is constantly changing plus we’ve been busy with out of state/UK projects, a bit of a brand revamp, organising the studio for an upcoming sale (more to come on that soon!) and adjusting to life as a working Mum 😊. Here is a before/after of one of our NorCal projects.

After getting a lot of great progress shots this week from our Texas project I felt compelled to share. Working on out of state/country projects is no small feat and you have to reply heavily on good communication with the team on the ground. This project is testing that but we are slowly getting there and the results will pay off! 💪🏻

This week has been a tragedy to say the least and as a designer I know how important the idea of “home” is.

To help communities that have been affected by the Los Angeles wildfires is launching a Rebuild Hotline offering free 1 hour consultation for those who have lost their homes. While this might be too soon to even contemplate, there’s no rush in setting up your consultation. Do so at your own pace and when you are ready.

Experts have come together to provide over 800+ hours where you can discuss various aspects of rebuilding your home. Whether it be vetting contractors, materials sourcing, access to vendors or just where to begin, we are here to help!

It’s fair to say that I’ve been pretty terrible at instagram for the past year or so due to various personal and professional challenges and generally falling out of love with IG. That being said, we have been working on some pretty cool projects… and after a conversation with a friend this morning, thank you for giving me a push, I thought for the first time in eons that I would share some progress. This is our project in Belfast UK that started during Covid and is almost to the finish line. Navigating a project overseas is no small feat and I could not have done this without the brilliant and plus a million other incredible people that are involved. I’ll try to share a bit more as we close out the project but here are a few photos from we received from site this week 🔨
